World Premiere of MusicForHumanity.org - A Film Celebrating 20 years of Music Scholarships In-Person
This film was recorded on Sunday October 19th at the magnificent Mulder Chapel in Warwick NY by Philip Miller. It features two of Music for Humanity's Grand Scholarship Recipients: Ryan Soeyadi and Esther Chae. Ryan has his Masters in Piano Performance from Juilliard. Esther is completing her Masters from Juilliard this year. Together, they represent $34,000 of the $207,000 that Music for Humanity has given over the last twenty years. Also in the film are the following artists:
- Charles Mokotoff, classical guitarist, MFH Board Member and Chairperson of the Scholarship Committee
- John Cimino, baritone and winner of the First International Pavarotti Voice Competition
- E'lissa Jones, full time music teacher in Warwick, former backup singer to Wilson Pickett, and arguably the most dynamic performer in the Hudson Valley.
This event and film were made possible by our three major sponsors: Key Bank, Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan, and WALL Radio.
