Want to learn more? Join the Master Gardener Volunteers from Cornell Cooperative Extension and learn more about native plants that are critical to the food web and necessary for many wildlife species to complete their life cycles. Without keystone native plants in the landscape, butterflies and native bees would not be able to survive resulting in detrimental effect on our birds as 96% of our terrestrial birds rely on insects supported by keystone plants.
