Every Friday in January, we're spotlighting some of the films that are now in the public domain!

January 3: Spite Marriage - Buster Keaton's final silent film

January 10: Spotlight on Micky Mouse - there are now over a dozen Mickey cartoons in the public domain, we'll be watching the best of them

January 17: Blackmail - Alfred Hitchcock's first sound film

January 24: The Cocoanuts - the first feature film starring The Marx Brothers

January 31: The Broadway Melody - the first sound film to win the Academy Award for Best Picture

 

All of these will be preceeded by a public domain cartoon! Come celebrate these foundational cinematic works!
